Jeff RobertsParticipant
Thank you sir!
Jeff RobertsParticipantRight on, Brian!
Corrections I see…
Gonzo
– Ryan Rich was driving Jeff Cowan’s 98 point carAA
– Marc DiGiovanni’s practice run is picked up as fastest, should be run #4 42.775.Not bad for such a large group!
Jeff RobertsParticipantCourse map added!
Jeff RobertsParticipantI’m wondering if MMS has approved this idea or if SCCA guy took it upon himself to do this? I have to say, this is a very sensitive situation and too many cooks could ruin the soup.
Jeff RobertsParticipantThanks B… Some corrections…
Gonzo
– Ryan was driving Jeff Cowan’s carAAA
– Praneil was driving his S2kAA
– Michael Kolesar, Tim Woo and James Tsukamoto, their practice runs should not count.B
– Tim Huang was driving his Porsche, he should be an X class car and not present in the results here. He’s changed it in the system so it will be right next time.
– We need to figure out why there are 5 non-registered people showing up in the results. I know the data file I sent you was 100% correct for “registered = yes” field.X
– Buhlinder Sethi has no times, but he should.
– Same here… last 4 people showing up were not registered.Jeff RobertsParticipantHi Virgil –
Andy Daniels picked up the chair/bag and it’s in the trailer for next time. I don’t know about the water bottle though.Jeff
Jeff RobertsParticipantReg is open for #6… msreg.com/ggcautox-090614
Jeff RobertsParticipantThanks Brian!
I don’t know why Brian Pangrle was changed to #277 for this event. He was 358 in the classification system and is now 958 there. I changed it for him yesterday. He should be 958 going forward. I know at an earlier event he was driving his Porsche and probably didn’t change classification prior to the event. Many people who have different cars neglect to do this.
Tim Huang brought his Cayman, he should be X. James drove Snoopy out of class, as Tim said – he’s OK with being non-compete. I’ll write all these folks (once dust settles) and ask them to fix their data in the classification system.

Jeff RobertsParticipantYup! Pretty much what I did, except for the right hander before the first real straight. I went out wider than your line suggests.
The course rewarded smoothness and a tight line. I cleaned things up on my last run after struggling for a few runs and dropped .5 seconds.
My coachee in RG3 did exactly the same and his last run was something like .6s faster than his previous. I may have been more excited than he was.
Jeff RobertsParticipantMy final and fastest run: 42.673
Jeff RobertsParticipantYour line looked pretty good to me David, at least from that camera angle.
Jeff RobertsParticipantHere’s my fastest run, tho dirty… picked up a cone in the final corner.
Practice what you preach! “The car goes where you look!” and if you look at the cone you don’t want to hit, well, you hit it!
My line was sloppy in a couple places. Mic by the exhaust tells the throttle story.
Really fun course with the technical nuances Dave is famous for! I see a strong contender for Course Rewind next year.

Jeff RobertsParticipantThanks for the quick turnaround Brian!
TDS forumula can be found here:
http://www.ggcbmwcca.org/autocross/about.phpSuzette Pangrle was also driving an x-class Porsche Boxter… I suspect the number on her car was not the number in the classification data as she did not classify her car ahead of time. She should be found on the paper sheet right before Barry as they were parked next to each other.
I had 1 cone on my 51.172 run, so 51.429 is my fastest run.
Henry Loh was not registered, not sure why he’s showing up. We had someone like that last month too. Odd.
Jeff RobertsParticipantHere’s my 49.557…
Jeff RobertsParticipantI can’t speak specifically to your application, but do some reading on AKG Motorsports bushings. They aren’t marketed like Powerflex, so they don’t have as big a forum following, but when I dug in doing research myself, they kept bubbling up to the top. I used their mid-grade RTABs in my car.
http://www.akgmotorsport.com/catalog/catalog.php?maincat=e30
Some decision help… I went with the middle-ground RTAB bushings on my car. Reason being, it was suggested to me that race grade may put stress on components that were not designed for that level and may cause unexpected problems if not reinforced.
I also went with the same for my rear diff, yet to be installed.
