Jeff RobertsParticipant
I remember discussing this in a thread somewhere, but I’ll clarify here…
Everyone gets 1 point for each event you participate in. The season standings column K (attendance) is the running total of the number of events you participated in. Attendance points are added to the points earned for the season, running total. Example…
Rob takes first place at three events. He gets 60 points + 3 points for participation = 63 points.
Any zeros in the Event column mean the person did not place in the top 10. A blank means the person did not participate in that event.
Jeff RobertsParticipantThought you would!
This just in… ActiveE is in the system! Don, you’ll want to reclassify your car and I’ll write the other owners who are attending the July event to let them know it’s there now too.
Jeff RobertsParticipant
Could you fix my “Car”?
Class C, #624 is a 2011 ActiveE (not the placeholder 128i I use because the website doesn’t know about ActiveEs)Thanks.
I’m working on getting our system updated for the ActiveE for the next event. Apologies… I forgot to manually change your classification before the data went to Brian.
For the Gonzo folks, here is your adjusted time standings…
Formula used: = ((60/59.901) ^ Points ) * Real Time * 0.85
Just for giggles, I plugged my time in to the formula… would have been 2nd in Gonzo cuz of my lower points. Hmmm… maybe next year.
Jeff RobertsParticipantDidja? 🙂
You can actually subscribe to the whole forum… that’s what I did.
Jeff RobertsParticipantHi Pat –
Dave is our official course designer, but we welcome anyone to submit ideas. There are safety standards we follow for speed, buffer zones, layout/setup, etc that must be followed. Lots of “what if?” goes into the creation and review of designs before we call them done.I attended a conference in February where Roger Johnson went thru his presentation on course design… outstanding experience. Here’s his latest handbook:

The template we use for Marina… each square = 20 feet.
Jeff RobertsParticipant

+1 on course like.

I’ll post a Matt Visser quote… “Great course! I hated it!” That’s a compliment.
Jeff RobertsParticipantIf you cannot wait that long, I can get some from Jack and bring to the next board meeting.

Jeff RobertsParticipant
Overfilling the oil by 1/2 quart is definitely the way to go with E36’s.
And non-M E46’s too.
