Timothy WooParticipant
I took a pic of the results and trying to post from my iphone, but somehow I don’t see a photo upload button. There is a discrepancy in the score for Dave Dunwoodie – in the afternoon results, it seems 1 time was missing, thus all his morning times were shifted over 1 place, moving his best morning time into the afternoon, with a big blank space at the far right. His best time from the morning was ~0.6 seconds better than what was finally posted. That should have probably put him in the TDS finals.
(You can thank me Dave…I am a foodie and love Bourbons.)Timothy WooParticipantRG3 must’ve been really messed up! 🙂
Timothy WooParticipantBrian,
Along the lines of helping with a good set of data since there were chunks of missing times in RG3, here are times from my runs in order:
1) 50.185 +2 (DNF)
2) 47.021
3) 47.399
4) 46.493
5) 46.799
6) 46.941
7) 46.614 +1Hope this helps.
TimTimothy WooParticipantTimes for Car 82 (Tim Woo), RG2, AA:
Not sure if I have the correct order for the times, but my best time was either in the 3rd or 4th run – 43.748.
1. 45.742
2. 44.471
3. 43.947
4. 43.748 (best run, clean. just not sure was it my 3rd or 4th run)
5. 44.365 (2 extra reruns in run 5 for pointing out downed cones)
6. 43.923 (1 rerun for pointing out downed cone at the finish)Hope this helps.

Timothy WooParticipantThanks Andy.
Timothy WooParticipantBrian…
Noticed a few people including me, have their first runs which shouldn’t count, as their best times. It should be the best time recorded for drivers’ second to the rest of the runs.
Timothy WooParticipantBummer that I couldn’t see where I’d stack up against all the AA players yesterday after only one run, when my sway bar snapped!
Can I lobby for my only run to be counted for points?
Timothy WooParticipantBrian,
Thanks for posting scores.
One thing I caught…
James Tsukamoto was driving Snoopy (Ryan’s car) since his car was banged up, so he should either be in non-compete or Gonzo class, but not A.Tim
Timothy WooParticipantThanks Jeff.
So it’s been a long time since I did any advanced math…TDS Formula:
adjustedTime = ((60/59.901) ^points) * realTime * 0.85What’s that sign “^”? I think it’s “to the power of”? Just to confirm.
Timothy WooParticipantThanks Brian for the quick turnaround.
Anyone – Curious where’s the TDS formula posted?
Timothy WooParticipantThx! Nice pix. Can we download?
Timothy WooParticipantI can confirm that Eric Ries drove his Z4M, but I don’t think it’ll matter anyway, as I’m told that car is also AA. NO FAIR DAMMIT!! 🙂
That would put him into 3rd place in AA!!
Great driving Eric!Timothy WooParticipantAnother correction since I did the scoring for run group 1. (I mentioned this to Jeff at the end of the day.)
This would impact 2nd, 3rd and 4th place finishers.Car 280 (Stephen Kolesar) didn’t have a time for the first run or a DNF (no rerun since it was his first lap). So all his numbers should be pushed up 1, with his last run being 49.500. So should look like this…
1 – No Time/DNF
2 – 50.307
3 – 50.003
4 – 50.059
5 – 49.683
6 – 49.500Timer issues were prevalent that day and many people had reruns in RG1. Here’s what happened as best I can explain it…
Stephen had a downed cone on his 6th/final run, which he pointed out, but this was NOT communicated to the scoring folks at the trailer.
Trailer didn’t know he should’ve had a rerun, he took his rerun anyway, and ended up at the finish line again – not displayed on the board, but the computer timer ended with 49.500.
The time was recorded (in case) but we did NOT give him a time since we were unaware that he should’ve had a rerun.
He lined up again for a 2nd rerun (unbeknownst that he had a time recorded for his 1st rerun), and it was finally communicated to us that he was owed a rerun. By that time it was too late and he was already lined up at the start line and in the cones.
Trailer decided to just let him go and we will deal with the scoring later, so as to not prolong or delay any further since there were so many other reruns for other cars due to timer issues. So his 2nd rerun was a 48.970. This should NOT count, since he did get a time for his 1st rerun – 49.500. (Sorry Stephen).
Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you need more clarification.
Timothy WooParticipantBrian (also Michael Kolesar, Stephen Kolesar and Jeremy Nugent),
Actually, point of note…the only 49.880 I see from the first/original posting was from Michael Kolesar, NOT from Stephen Kolesar, but it was in his 4th run.
So maybe Michael, Stephen, and Jeremy should confirm their times? Both Michael and Jeremy had not chimed in here for any corrections, but their times have changed in the second iteration. Don’t know if their times changed as a consequence of other corrections, or excel typos, but it has impact on the top 10 drivers, esp. 1st and 2nd places between Michael and Rick as it seems they flipped placement after changes.
Hope this helps in figuring out what happened.
Tim
Timothy WooParticipantDouble check Car 100 in AA…noticed this…
His 3rd run changed from the original posting of 54.170 at 13th place, to 49.880 to 3rd place in the revised posting. That time seems also out of whack compared to all his other times by over 3 seconds. That a typo? -
