Don LouvParticipant
Hi Henry,
Yup, that was me!
-Don
Don LouvParticipantI recalled that was the case a year or three ago. Oh well, I’ll go practice in the local police parking lot.
Don LouvParticipantSeems legit. 😛
I can’t wait to see the i8 base points!
Don LouvParticipantAdvance Warning, I’m (hopefully) gonna need points classing for an i3 for next season. (not the ’13 TDS)
Much lighter than the ActiveE, but tires on the i3 are tall, skinny, and kinda like driving on four compact spares.
Don LouvParticipantThere are not nearly enough electric cars in these results.
oh… sorry… my fault.
Don LouvParticipant+1 Large
…because my car is in the lead. (no, not my ActiveE… that’s still on the other side of the hill… recharging…)
Don LouvParticipant
still always the bride’s maid, never the bride…. hahaha
Thanks for your hard work!
Cheers,
Henry
Henry,
You have a chance to be the bride for the season. All you have to do is beat Brock in October.I cannot make it to the final event, so I’m out of the Class C running.
…Unless we want to run the October race a day earlier.B)
Don LouvParticipant
Not hating on electrons, 😉 but that 8th C-class car’s time looks odd, given his 5 recorded runs.
…
Oh, so sad. I was so happy that the other ActiveE driver got 8th. Sadly that drops her down to 14th… just ahead of the 1989 750iL.
oh, BTW, Haley is a “her” not “him”.
Don LouvParticipantI’m looking forward to a head-to-head C-Class ass-kicking competition: 1989 750iL vs. 2011 ActiveE.
Don LouvParticipantCould someone change the AutoX 3 results page (and any other page and or database necessary) to correct my Car to be a 2011 ActiveE, not a 128i.
(the latest Bombe just came out and my car was listed as a 128i)
Thanks!
-Don “That Crazy Electric Car Guy” Louv
Don LouvParticipantYeah, the nearest Charging Stations to CandleStick are 6 miles away in South City.
One at Walgreens, and 4 at the City garage. You can find me napping there, the few hours prior to the next AutoX.
Don LouvParticipantAlternately, you could put me into another car, and have me run the course.
Or, put a few other drivers in my ActiveE and see how they do.
Don LouvParticipant
Don,
Looks like the R compounds worked out well 🙂 If you are not careful, someone will start lobbying to move you up to B. 😉
Mark
Mark,
Yup the R-Compounds are good.
We should get a few more ActiveE’s out there to see if it’s me, or the tires, or the car. (my money is on the car… 😉Don LouvParticipantThanks! My profile has been updated.
And I look forward to some other “electrics” joining the fun!
Don LouvParticipantCould you fix my “Car”?
Class C, #624 is a 2011 ActiveE (not the placeholder 128i I use because the website doesn’t know about ActiveEs)Thanks.
