Aw man, not another tight n’ twisty one. 😛
Don’t get me wrong. I like a good technical challenge, but what I really love is the sensation of speed and the challenge of fast sweepers. In retrospect, some of my favorite courses have been a good mix of both tight and fast – often requiring crossovers to make use of the limited space we have. We just had a very tight one last round, so I was hoping for something more open this time.
It should be a good course – I am just putting in my vote for a Need for Speed on the next one
Cheers,

James,
If speed is your thing, join us next wkend for the AAS events. Even with crossovers, their courses at Marina frequently run under 35 sec(well, in my car 🙂 ).
MarkMark MervichParticipantThank you, Jeff. Looks very technical 🙂 But I can never really figure it out until I walk the course.
MarkMark MervichParticipantSpeaking of ordered… will they be here in time for the next event?
MarkMark MervichParticipant
The slaloms look awfully close to each other… what if someone spins towards the end of the second slalom while the next car is sent after the overlap entering the first slalom?
Probably won’t be a problem because the first car will be through their slalom before the 2nd car gets to the first one.
MarkMark MervichParticipantShould be fun. The 2nd slalom will slow some people down a bit. B)
MarkMark MervichParticipantShould we bring money to the event on the 25th?
MarkMark MervichParticipantExcellent. Change my order to 3 med in gray.
MarkMark MervichParticipant
Mark, believe or not I had one in the original design, I might put it back, if I can make it look good and balanced. Some minor tweaks will be in there before I print it up, it’ll be a surprise!
If I order several will it help?
MarkMark MervichParticipantNice design. One M in gray. Same nice fabric as last year?
I guess having a FF in the design is a bit too much to ask for B)

Jeff,
You and the team must be doing something right to get 56 sign ups for the next event in less than 5 days.
MarkMark MervichParticipantOk, looks like I don’t have to be the first to ask 😆
MarkMark MervichParticipantVery nice, Hal. Any idea what the measurement units are on the accelerator graph?
It appears that Praneil gets on it just a bit sooner than you do.
I ran through my video from yesterday against Chris’ one frame at a time. It was very enlightening; I will be faster :cheer:
MarkMark MervichParticipantSize fixed.
MarkMark MervichParticipantMy video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ns5wXAZLuK0
I will fix the photos.
MarkMark MervichParticipant
Ooh I like. Looks like a long course, too.
How much do you want to bet that we have to add a chicane or something to slow down that straightaway on the left? 😛 That’s a looong stretch to top out 2nd before some fun twisties! :cheer:
Don’t mention that, they might change something B)
