MarkFebruary 2, 2014 at 10:08 am #5627Mark MervichParticipantCliff, The shots look good. Did you have a lot of rejects?
MarkFebruary 2, 2014 at 10:17 am #5628Barry TwycrossParticipantThanks for the photos. I didn’t have any of me because we were in different run/work groups for once.
I have video my 8th and best run (44.200) http://btwyx.com/Movies/AxBMWFunJan14Best.mov

February 2, 2014 at 10:58 am #5630John KimParticipantMark, nice photos. I found two of me, one of my buddy with the green E46 coupe, and two of his friend with the black E46 wagon.
Interested in posting the pics of my car on Facebook or Twitter.. how much to buy a digital copy? (Zenfolio seems to only offer prints, shirts, and mugs for sale.)
February 2, 2014 at 11:07 am #5631Cliff OatesParticipantThanks for the great photos, Mark. Yeah, tons of rejects. The camera had a hard time acquiring focus quickly enough. Once I did get focus, then it was pretty much spray and pray.
February 3, 2014 at 8:15 am #5634Mark MervichParticipantJohn, The last time I checked, you could just download a photo from Zenfolio. If not send me a link to the photo and your e mail address and I will send directly, NC.
MarkFebruary 4, 2014 at 9:06 am #5639Jeff RobertsParticipantGreat day everyone! Thanks for sharing pics and videos.
I did a 42.5 in Eric’s 325is last August, 41.2 in my car this time. I had one run that I did not get a time for – it felt really good. 🙁 My fastest recorded run, not my fastest run. The little blinking red light failed me multiple times!
Here’s Ryan’s fastest run in my car, 41.4.
February 12, 2014 at 9:55 pm #5681dana gleasonParticipantLot’s of fun! Here’s a link to my best run at 43.096. I see opportunities for improvement but am quite satisfied with this time.

February 13, 2014 at 1:10 pm #5686John KimParticipantBeen too lazy to copy the video to my computer and upload it. Yes, I realize that’s Lame!
It seems my best time was pretty close to Jeff’s, which makes me feel all warm and glowy inside, as long as I conveniently forget my “cheater” tires.
February 13, 2014 at 10:46 pm #5690Nigel MottParticipantMy thanks to Jeff and the GGC Autocross team for organizing a great event and to Charlie for guiding me through my first GGC Autocross. My appreciation to Cliff for the pleasant surprise of seeing some photos of the Coupe in action and to the folks who posted videos showing what it looks like to be more economical with time. I notice that not parking sideways in the middle of the course has immediate benefits…
February 18, 2014 at 10:34 pm #5721John KimParticipantWait did I say my best time was same as Jeff Roberts? It turns out, much like telling fish tales of the one that got away, my AutoX story got better with every retelling. Having found my little yellow sticky notes, my best time was actually 0.9 seconds behind Jeff.
Since I had slicks and Jeff didn’t…. cue the handy excuse bag!
–My tires were cold at the beginning of the run and overheated at the end
–The slalom cones were moving themselves
–I had 8 passengers in the car for each run
–My tires were previously used in 6 professional endurance races
–My passengers weren’t offering me good coaching
–Driving with my eyes closed and there was a disturbance in The Force
–I did the slalom twice on every run
–Car had a full gas tank and two bottles of heavy water
–A thunderstorm microcell was raining right in front of my car
–Was driving slowly on purpose so Mervich will let me drive his car
–Low on blinker fluid
–Low on torque and couldn’t put the power down anyway
–Forgot to put horseradish on my sandwich
–Skydivers distracted meFebruary 22, 2014 at 12:20 pm #5746John KimParticipantHaving exhausted my list of excuses, here’s video of my 8th and 2nd-best run. This run was 42.261 and my best run was 42.154.
