GoPro alternative from Monoprice

Monoprice announced some interesting (cheap) stuff today at CES (including a 27″ 2560×1440 IPS monitor for $390–yow). One of the items is a camera that is similar to a Go-Pro and is $99 (ships in early March):

1080p, waterproof, etc. Looks interesting, especially for those looking to record multiple angles at once. If anyone ends up buying one as an early adopter, I’d be interested to hear how well it works.

If you are not familiar with monoprice, they are a tremendous resource for low-cost, good-quality cables. Monitors and cameras are a new niche for them, so it will be interesting to see if those products keep that model going.
